MEDITATION AND MINDFULNESS
Meditation and mindfulness have played a huge role in my routine and lifestyle, helping me to remain calm and grounded within the chaos of my life, especially whilst I travel.
The techniques I love to incorporate include using the breath, awareness-based meditations, self-inquiry, mantra and loving kindness. I also consider dancing as a way to connect with myself. Lately my Somatic Educator course teachings have been interwoven into what i’ve learned from my meditation course. Because I practice these techniques, I will be guiding you through these if you choose to learn them.
For pregnant women and postpartum mothers, you will be guided to incorporate meditation and mindfulness practices throughout your pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. You will also be provided with recordings to use as you wish (included as part of the packages and rates). I completed a Parenting and Children elective with the meditation teaching training course and as part of the course I thoroughly enjoyed creating guided meditations for various age groups and for expectant and new mothers. I am also happy to share meditations for older children, not just newborns, infants and toddlers. If you are seeking advice, it will be sprinkled here and there within our time together, such as ways to make it a habit and part of your lifestyle and supporting the challenges that may arise in any session. I will be creating a community online, that is devoted to expectant and new mothers as well as mothers of more than one child, where we can gather as a community and have a day once a week devoted to meditation.
